AN EXCEPTIONAL SITUATION

The vineyard

The domain

From the elegant building of Château HAUT PIQUAT contemplate a superb view of the hills combed with vines and woods.

At the heart of the appellation, on one of its highest points,  the vineyard extends in one piece.

Dominated by the Tertre de PICAMPEAU, the site is home to an astonishing Gallic megalith.

equipment

Since the acquisition in 1972 there has been constant improvement of the vineyard in the restructuring of the plots, the selection of grape varieties and  rootstocks.

But also in the production tool itself with the construction of high-performance facilities both for vinification and for maturing and ageing.

1989 A new ultra modern vat room is built, in stainless steel vats already equipped with thermoregulation

2000  A new barrel cellar is born, making it possible to accommodate 480 French oak barrels.
